Therapist “My Approach” Page Questionnaire

"*" indicates required fields

To receive a link for returning to a partially filled-out form, please click "SAVE & CONTINUE" at the bottom of the page, enter your email, and click "send link."

An approach page will allow you to delve into details about a specific approach you use in your practice—one that perhaps shaped your entire method of treatment in a very unique way. For people looking for a therapist with expertise in such an approach, having the information on this page available to them can make all the difference.

Please answer the questions in this form in your own words as much as possible—instead of simply copy/pasting information from elsewhere—because we want to know what you find important to be included in the content so we can create a unique page for each topic/specialty. Clear and specific answers are best -- not necessarily long ones. (If there is a question that doesn't apply to your work/practice, simply put "N/A.")

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  1. Please do not just provide links to sites. It's not our writers' responsibility to pick out information for you to use in the content. We need your expert input and direction.
  2. The person who will do the interview with the writer (after one has been assigned) should also be the person filling out this questionnaire.

General Information

This section outlines the generalities of your approach and what your philosophy is. Here, you can also provide details about your intake process, what sessions are like, and how you work with clients.

(Note: Be wary of diving too deep into the specifics of modalities as doing so can be overwhelming to a reader. That said, this depends on the therapist. If you have a lot of approaches you use, consider bullet points. If you are all about a specific approach [think EFT for couples], then explaining that approach in a few sentences might be appropriate.)

Unique Information/Logistics

This section allows you to hightlight your expertise by talking about the training you received or are still taking part in and other things that make you unique. Also, explain what conveniences you may offer or how a client can contact you.

(For Example: you may offer evening and/or weekend appointments, use online therapy, or offer in-home or out-of-office sessions.)
